Inspirational Woman

ELBA recently participated in FOS’ Inclusion and Wellbeing Fair, promoting the importance of volunteering. During the fair, the annual Juliana Francis Inclusion and Wellbeing Award was presented.

In early 2021, FOS lost their friend and long-time colleague, Juliana Francis. Juliana was Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing, a hugely experienced Ombudsman, and a driving force for inclusivity across the organisation.

The Award was created to honour her achievements and the ongoing work she inspired; and celebrate and recognise colleagues’ outstanding contributions in embedding inclusion and wellbeing across the organisation.

Juliana worked closely with ELBA, recognising the value of volunteering for employees, FOS and the wider community.
