Established in 2020, RISE is a Standard Chartered Bank programme supported by ELBA as part of Futuremakers, the bank’s global initiative to promote economic inclusion. RISE aims to Reach, Inspire, Support and Empower those from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds aged 18-25. It enables candidates to access opportunities that support personal growth and career goals.

The enriching programme is pan-London and delivered over eight months. It features employability and personal development workshops, as well as six months of 1-2-1 mentoring from a Standard Chartered mentor. On completion of the programme candidates have access to jobs, work placements and apprenticeship opportunities.
