Volunteers’ Week celebrations and gratitude

Volunteers’ Week 2025 (2-8 June) is the annual UK-wide campaign recognising the contributions of volunteers. ELBA was proud to participate in this nationwide event, which was established in 1984.

ELBA marked Volunteers’ Week 2025 by extending heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers we work with. Through your dedication and service, your contributions not only enrich the lives of people in east London, but also inspire a culture of giving and community engagement.

ELBA, in partnership with our community, corporate and education partners, delivered a range of activities during Volunteers’ Week – plastic fishing, volunteer fairs, Career Insight Visits, mock interviews, digital skills sessions – that gave many their first experience of volunteering, whilst providing opportunities for those individuals with the volunteering bug!
