Your title, when you joined and what motivated you to join ELBA:
Head of Programmes, joining in 2013. I set up London Works and was motivated by the organisation’s ethos and mission.

Key contributions or focus:
I manage London Works and work across employment programmes. I champion diversity and inclusion specifically around the recruitment agenda, challenging the status quo about what talent is, promoting social mobility and raising aspirations amongst candidates who may ordinarily be overlooked. We have designed, delivered and implemented several social mobility programmes concentrating on potential not polish. Committed to the positive impact we have on our employer network, I am thrilled with the candidates we have assisted in their ambitious career goals – some of whom today are hiring managers themselves.

Professional background and perspective:
Working in recruitment for over 30 years, ELBA is my first charity. I have been motivated by the consistent support and humane perspective that ELBA adopts towards its community and everyone within it. Our work is essential, appreciated and renowned.
