Tower Hamlets and Hackney Council get personal tour of Broadgate Estates
Broadgate Connect is now in its 5th year of delivery, and Tower Hamlets and Hackney council’s job brokerages have been important partners that have made a substantial contribution to its success to date.
On Wednesday 21st March, in celebration of 5 successful years, and to mark the plans and hopes for the future of the programme, 10 representatives from Tower Hamlets and Hackney Councils were invited to attend an insight tour of Broadgate. During the tour, attendees learnt about the 32-acre office and retail estate in the City of London, the existing occupiers, retailers and suppliers. Volunteers from Broadgate, Julio Delgado (Rapport), Joseph Crook (Ultimate Security), Jake Castree (Broadgate Estates) and Daniel Kane (Broadgate Estates) all participated throughout the morning’s activities.
The insight tour has lead to an increase in knowledge of Broadgate and will help council representatives to identify with the opportunities that are sourced and shared through the employment and skills project.
Feedback was very positive, everyone left feeling very enthused and equipped to identify local talent to refer for opportunities available through Broadgate Connect.
