Leaders in Partnership Launch Autumn 2024
Written by Zakia Sheba, Community Development Project Manager, Connect
On 19th September, ELBA’s Connect Team launched the Autumn cohort for the Leaders in Partnership programme. The cohort of 16 attended the training and the first initial meet with their partner, hosted at Societe Generale.
Leaders in Partnership programme is an innovative 1-1 coaching initiative designed to bridge the gap between the community and corporate sectors. Over the course of 10 months, senior leaders from the community sector are matched with experienced leaders from the corporate world, forming a partnership built on mutual learning and growth.
This unique structure not only fosters collaboration between these two sectors but also serves as a powerful platform for professional and personal development for community leaders.
One of the key benefits for community leaders is the access to strategic insights and business acumen that their corporate counterparts provide. Many leaders in the community sector often face challenges such as limited resources and operational complexities. Through this programme, they gain exposure to the corporate sector’s expertise in these areas, allowing them to apply new strategies, streamline processes, and build more sustainable organisations.
This ongoing support can lead to significant improvements in leadership skills, decision-making, and organisational impact.
In essence, the Leaders in Partnership programme is a vital catalyst for community leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities, implement more effective strategies, and ultimately drive greater impact within their communities. By leveraging the expertise of corporate leaders, the programme opens up new pathways for innovation, resilience, and growth.
