Inside Look: UEL Students Attend Exclusive AI & Sustainability Session at Accenture

University of East London students got a glimpse into the exciting world of AI and Sustainability at Accenture’s exclusive event on the 5th April. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to hear from a range of Accenture employees and experts in the AI & Sustainability field, who gave interesting insights into Accenture’s impactful work that help modern-day businesses grow with technological advancements, with sustainability at the forefront of this.
Throughout the day, students learned from Accenture experts about how AI is used to solve real-world challenges, including in the context of sustainability. They even put their skills to the test by creating presentations on tackling business problems with AI or sustainable solutions.The winning team walked away with a prize, but everyone gained valuable teamwork and communication skills.
Accenture volunteers also offered invaluable career advice. Students received tips on building a strong LinkedIn profile and crafting an impactful CV for graduate roles at Accenture, with volunteers even reviewing CVs and providing personalised feedback. The day wrapped up with an engaging networking session, where students connected with Accenture professionals and gained insights into potential career paths.
