Evolve: Reflecting community need

Evolve: Reflecting community need

By Courtney Thorne, Corporate Community Partnership Manager, ELBA

Evolve programme is part of our skills-building offer at ELBA that supports community organisations in Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Haringey with organisational capacity building. This is all possible with the brilliant support from our corporate partners and their employee volunteers at Linklaters, Societe Generale, the Societe Generale Foundation and UBS.

In 2026, more than ever, Evolve aims to reflect the needs and aspirations of our community partners to ensure we are having the most impact and offering the best workshops. Community organisations require tailored and well designed workshops, and volunteers have feedback that they always want to see a real depth of impact when they offer their time, expertise and skills.

That’s why we are asking for community partners’ direct feedback now. Evolve has launched a community consultation survey that covers themes of resilience, financial sustainability and data innovation to clearly identify the best offer for 2026 that our employee volunteers can support with.

These findings will inform all of the skills based workshops for 2026. ELBA will always strive to reflect the needs of community organisations in east London, this is an exciting time to directly collaborate to design a calendar of meaningful, ambitious and crafted workshops for 2026.
