Zheng Yuan (Zac) Puah is E-Client Services & Trading Control Trainee at Société Générale. Zac tells us about how ELBA has enabled him to use his skills and knowledge to guide students to generate great ideas, to help them achieve great things and to potentially become the top financiers of the future. 

Why do you volunteer?
I volunteer with ELBA because I truly believe in giving back to the community with the experiences I have learned throughout the years. And I believe in helping people in general anyway.

What have you gained from your volunteering experience?
I have learned that there are so many bright people that truly have potential to do something great. All they need is someone who can guide them in the right way of doing the task. ELBA has enabled me to use my skills and knowledge in order to guide the students to generate great ideas, and for them to potentially become one of the top financiers of the future.

Would you recommend volunteering to a colleague and, if so, why?
Oh yes, of course, because it is not just fun, but also allows us to learn, contribute and socialise with the communities and see what we can contribute back to the society. That’s what makes ELBA and Societe Generale one of the best company to work with!
