Euromonitor partners with BIG Alliance for another impactful ‘Community Week’
Written by Luke Brown, Head of Programme, BIG Alliance
At BIG Alliance, we’re passionate about connecting businesses with meaningful volunteering opportunities that support our community. This year, we were once again thrilled to partner with Euromonitor International for their annual Community Week, facilitating two impactful Team Challenges.
Euromonitor’s Community Week is a testament to their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, providing their colleagues with valuable opportunities to learn about and support the organisations they champion.
Making New Memories with the Forget Me Not Project:
A group of Euromonitor volunteers spent a rewarding afternoon with the Forget Me Not Project’s “City Memory” group at Golden Lane Community Centre. This initiative provides a safe and stimulating environment for older adults, particularly those living with memory disorders, to meet new people, share stories, and reminisce about their lives in London.
Euromonitor volunteers engaged in meaningful conversations and helped facilitate the running of the afternoon, fostering connection and combating social isolation.
Making ‘Vita Bites’ with AMURT UK:
Another small but mighty team of enthusiastic Euromonitor volunteers joined AMURT UK’s London Feeding Programme. Alongside their key initiative that provides hot, nutritious meals to individuals experiencing homelessness and food insecurity across the city, the London Feeding Programme also prepares healthy and nutritious ‘Vita Bites’. Packed with high-quality ingredients, Vita Bites provide individuals experiencing homelessness with a healthy and energy-packed snack that’s rich in fibre, protein, vitamins and healthy fats.
Volunteers assisted with Vita Bite preparation and packing, directly contributing to the programme’s mission of alleviating hunger through the provision of nutritious food.

“On behalf of all of us at the London Feeding Programme, thank you for sending a fantastic team to prepare hundreds of Vita Bites … they were absolutely brilliant and very enthusiastic participants,” said Zoe Tribello, Volunteer Manager for AMURT UK’s London Feeding Programme. “Thanks to their efforts, we were able to serve these snacks alongside our freshly prepared meals (made by our regular volunteers) to our many service users facing food insecurity and homelessness.”
