Accelerating Action at Sarah Bonnell School – International Women’s Day 2025

This year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) 2025 theme, “Accelerate Action”, highlights the urgency of breaking barriers, creating opportunities and ensuring women receive the support they need to thrive.

ELBA continues to drive this mission by providing mentorship and real-world experiences. A key initiative was Cadwalader’s Girls in Finance workshop, where female students from Sarah Bonnell School explored career paths in financial services. Through workshops, networking and hands-on activities, they gained valuable insight into an industry where women remain underrepresented.

Volunteers also supported Sarah Bonnell’s prefect interviews, helping students develop leadership, confidence and communication skills. Their guidance prepared students for senior school roles and future professional opportunities.

These initiatives, powered by dedicated volunteers, equip young women with the skills and confidence to succeed. By accelerating action today, we create a more inclusive and empowered society for the next generation.
