Toy Appeal reaches new heights!
The holiday season is officially upon us and The ELBA & BIG Alliance Annual Toy Appeal is well underway. The Toy Appeal is a testament to the incredible power of our community, and this year we are reaching new and exciting achievements – we have 108 companies supporting this year’s campaign! However, we have had more requests than ever before from 117 community partners across east London and Islington, demonstrating that the sad reality is that the need is getting progressively higher, which is why we need your support!
We have had over 12,000 toys donated so far but we still have a way to go to reach the demand!
This year we’ve brought back a blast from the past with our Toy Dash. Think ‘Supermarket Sweep’ with a Christmas toy twist! Already getting stuck in, CBRE Investment Management volunteers took part in a quick dash around stores across Canary Wharf Mall, with all their gains to be donated to the appeal and distributed to community partners. They competed against each other to be crowned the fastest team, and team that stays on budget!
