M3 Consulting: Wellbeing, community and sustainability
For this month’s CSR Profile, we’re shining the spotlight on M3 Consulting, hearing from Jacqui Harvey, M3 Consulting project administrator.
Please provide a short outline of your current role and a brief description of any other relevant career experience
I am a project administrator for M3 Consulting. The job is quite diverse from arranging meetings to working with the team to get the office Covid-19 secure for Team Members to return to work safely to developing and building new CSR contacts, as well as introducing volunteering initiatives and motivating Team Members to join in.
Why is CSR important to your organisation?
CSR is important to M3 as we are passionate about being a responsible business, a key part of which is supporting the communities where we operate, balancing the impact of our presence in those communities and making a positive difference. More recently climate change has increased the obligations on business to be more sustainable. And of course the well-being of M3’s staff is vital.
Which topics, themes or initiatives are your organisation currently focused on?
M3 is focused on the following:
– well-being i.e. physical and mental aspects
– community e.g. volunteering, fundraising
– Sustainability e.g. environment
What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is seeing team members outside of the office environment volunteering, working hard and bonding together to be most efficient and sometimes competitive i.e. supermarket dash for a foodbank! It is so important that we are able to give something back to the community and learn about the importance of the charity that we helped out. As a result we have a better understanding of the charity’s needs and issues they face and can continue to seek other ways in which we can work with each other.
