The Green Ribbon – ending the stigma surrounding mental health issues
Mental Health is an issue that is finally getting the attention it deserves. It is estimated that mental ill-health costs London £26bn each year, including £1.9bn in lost productivity for London’s businesses. Many businesses including ELBA business partners are starting to get to grips with making the workplace a healthier – and more productive – place to work, and improving their skills and capacity to deal with employees that are facing issues. ELBA and many of our business partners want to spread the word about ending the stigma that surrounds mental health and to get people talking, and we are getting behind the new Green Ribbon campaign. Imagine everywhere you go during Mental Health Awareness Week (8th to 12th May) you see thousands of people showing they want to help #endthestigma of mental health by wearing a green ribbon.
