Your title, when you joined and what motivated you to join ELBA:
I joined ELBA in March 2025 as Operations Director. As the first person in my family to attend Higher Education, I have a true appreciation for social mobility, which is central to ELBA’s work and attracted me to this opportunity.

Key contributions or focus:
The Operations Director is a new role for ELBA. It’s a far-reaching role focused on leading the improvement of our processes. Key projects currently include ELBA’s Digital Transformation, the review of our programmes, and ELBA’s internal learning and development offer.

Professional background and perspective:
I have worked in community development, access to justice and advocacy for over twelve years, in roles such as Head of Operations, Director of Operations and COO. In 2023, I completed an MSc in Charity Accounting at Bayes Business School and I am in my penultimate year of CIMA studies. Previously, I was Chair of Finance, Premises and H&S at a single-academy trust and have also served as a trustee of a children’s adoption charity.
