What is your role and what does it involve?
I oversee BIG Alliance’s team volunteering programme with the support of the fabulous Nadia, and I share oversight of some of our skills-based programmes. Each day is genuinely different, from scoping new community partners and designing materials, to facilitating volunteering sessions and helping our Partnerships Director bring new businesses on board.

I sang with my community choir at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC Proms.

Tell us the best thing about working for ELBA
For me, it’s the relationships I have built with community partners and our corporate contacts over the years.

Name your favourite place in east London and why
I have a soft spot for Victoria Park and Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, both beautiful green spaces in their own ways. I should also mention my favourite places in Islington, which is Regent’s Canal. A wonderful place for a lunchtime walk. Also, Camden Passage for coffee, shopping and people watching.
